Tamara
A traditional noble beauty.
Tamara is a very common international name and has its origin in Hebrew, which translates as “palm tree”. In India, this name translates to “lotus flower”. This is probably why this name was worn by many empresses, queens and other nobles. It is no coincidence that the new ladies watch from Poljot-International also bears this name. The model is very noble and finely designed.
This noble but traditional design beauty is produced in three versions: One version convinces in stainless steel case, the second other versions shine with a gold-plated case. The case is very delicately designed with its size of only 31 mm in diameter. In height, including the domed sapphire crystal, the model is only 9 mm. The middle part of the case has been brushed horizontally, while the caseback and the bezel have been polished. These finishes make the entire model look even flatter.
The glass back allows to see the beauty of the flat vintage mechanical movement 1601 by “Chaika”. The production of these movements was already stopped 20 years ago. Nowadays, only a few such flat ladies’ movements still exist on the watch market and are therefore among the rarities.
The three versions of the “Tamara” model naturally get three different dial colors: a noble black, a warm brown and a traditional white enameled shade. All dials have a curved shape and a very classic design to keep the traditional vintage look. The hands have a simple, classic shape and provide a very good contrast on the corresponding dial.
The models are limited to only 50 pieces, due to the limited number of movements still available and rare.
