FULL CALENDAR CADAMOMO
Dance of the Avant-garde: Date, Week, Month, Moon in one beat.
Alexander Shorokhoff once again introduces a groundbreaking design innovation with his latest full calendar model named “CADAMOMO.” This particular timepiece not only distinguishes itself by displaying the current time but also provides information on the date, day of the week, month, and moon phase. Unlike simple date displays that only show the current date, a full calendar offers a more comprehensive date function, making it the ideal choice for those who want all essential date information at a glance.
But that’s not all: The exclusive model pays homage to the 50th anniversary of Inhorgenta and seamlessly fits into Alexander Shorokhoff’s extravagant collection.
The name “CADAMOMO” was not chosen arbitrarily. Upon closer examination of the letter pairs – CA-DA-MO-MO – an artistic sense emerges. CA stands for “calendar”, DA for “day,” MO for “month,” and the second MO for “moon.” This creative naming process resulted in the distinctive name. The day is highlighted by the central yellow date hand with a blue tip. The day of the week is indicated at 10 o’clock by a small white sphere, while the month is marked at 2 o’clock with a small white arrow.
In addition, the “CADAMOMO” offers another feature, displaying the current moon phase at 6 o’clock. It shows how the moon appears in the sky and in which phase it is. This is designed as a representation of the moon as a small disc that moves slowly over the course of a month. The moon phase display is an aesthetic and traditional feature in many wristwatches, often integrated for lovers of astronomical details or watch collectors.
The entire dial unmistakably presents the avant-garde signature of designer Alexander Shorokhov. Every detail, color, and shape is perfectly coordinated. Only Alexander Shorokhov can achieve this – with an irresistible coolness and the courage to make a statement on the wrist.
At the heart of the “CADAMOMO” beats the automatic caliber DD9000 from Dubois Depraz, whose hand-engraved and decorated oscillating weight embodies the quintessence of craftsmanship. The three subdial discs for the day of the week, month, and moon were modified by designer Alexander Shorokhov and carefully assembled by the master watchmakers at the Alexander Shorokhoff watch manufacture. With its blued screws and the precision of 25 jewels adorning the movement, it is a true expression of precision and elegance. The power reserve of about 42 hours ensures that this watch not only measures time but also endures time.
In a limited edition of only 50 pieces, the new model is a tribute to the avant-garde and the 50th anniversary of the Inhorgenta fair.
